Yes, the Watchmen is a twelve-issue comic book series
reflecting
the contemporary anxieties our country mirrors as we are edging closer to a
nuclear war with the Soviet Union. The story focuses on the presence of
superheroes such as the Watchman who possesses obvious superhuman powers.
Although, through the Holy Spirit, I do possess at times superhuman
powers, I can claim none of these powers as my own. We as Christians are only vessels,
if and when He chooses to use us.
I take the name, Watchman from Ezekiel 33:2-6:
Ezekiel 33:2-3 Son of man, speak to the children of thy
people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of
the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he
seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; But
if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be
not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken
away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
I am, “blowing the trumpet” hence the name of the site: The_Final_Trumpet_Blast
